
Incognito mode prevents your browser from keeping a log of the sites you visit during your current session, or the passwords you use, and prevents the site from downloading cookies onto your device.
Open link in incognito mode: This means the link will open in an incognito mode window. You can use this option if you have opened multiple tabs in a window and want to start a fresh line of searches on a different topic of research. Open link in new window: The link will open in a different window. Open link in new tab: The link will open in a new tab. Here you can select any of the three options: A list of options will appear for what you want to do with the link. Alternatively, hover your mouse pointer over the link you wish to open in a new tab and right-click on the link. You can just click the link with the middle button (or scroll wheel) on your mouse. Chrome basically groups tabs according to a domain, but this can be really confusing particularly when you’ve got twenty or more tabs open at a time.
So, lets say you’ve got three or four different websites open, each time you open links in new tabs, they will open right next to the tab of the related website. When you have a bunch of tabs open in Chrome and open a new tab, it opens right next to the parent tab that the new one originated from.
